Connect Your President to Your Prospects with Video

It’s great if you background your key executives on your website and in your literature.  But it’s even better when you bring them to life with the power of video storytelling.

Here’s an example, starting with an executive of a major hospital:

Cindy Schamp

President

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Irving

Cindy Schamp comes to Baylor from the 250-bed Alle-Kiski Medical Center in Natrona Heights, Pa., where she served as president and chief executive officer. Alle-Kiski is a private, non-profit community hospital providing full-service care to a four county region of more than 160,000 people. As president and CEO, Cindy Schamp successfully implemented an organizational redesign and efficiency plan, set goals to enhance quality initiatives and created organizational alignment with patient satisfaction goals. Under her leadership, Alle-Kiski received the 2006, 2007 and 2008HealthGrades Distinguished Hospital – Clinical Excellence Award.

Cindy Schamp’s impressive career in health care spans more than two decades and encompasses senior leadership roles at health care organizations across the country. She holds a master’s degree in hospital and health administration from the University of Iowa and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).

Connect Your President to Your Prospects with Video:  Takeaways

  • Research the key executives to guide discussion to their strengths.
  • Let viewers get to know them as a person, not just as executive.
  • Dig deep to get them to share their best stories about their career and their institution.
  • Encourage them to be casual:  This isn’t a news conference but a conversation.
  • Overshoot so you can select the best soundbites.
  • Keep each to a couple of minutes or less when possible.
  • Create a video for each topic of discussion.
